The future is knowable…by looking to the past.
After more than thirty years of stock market research, studying the Law of Periodicity and working with time cycle theory have shown me that long chunks of stock market action repeat at particular intervals, sometimes for years.
It turns out this quirk holds true for human history, as well. Indeed, history repeats, or at least rhymes. In other words, if we figure out what part of history is repeating now, we can forecast what is likely to happen in the future. This article is about comparing Donald Trump to Julius Caesar, and thus how our future might likely develop.
With a lot of work (and some luck), I located specific cycles or intervals of time where history closely repeats. The cycle lengths are definite, and once you find one, you can identify numerous repetitions of historical events and whole flows of time, as if unfolding a movie script. The whole script repeats. The actors are different, with different props and scenery. But the story line is strikingly similar and can continue for many years.
Stock market data is limited to about two hundred years, which is enough for research into monthly or daily patterns, but not enough time to verify bigger cycles.
Two major time cycles that closely repeat like a movie script are 2064 years and 1768 years. I am writing many articles just on these cycles.
In our now, the 2064-year and 1768-year cycles are in almost the same places as they were in 44 BC and 252 AD. This means, our time is repeating the events of those years.
In later articles, we will look at the 1768-year cycle, which relates our NOW directly to 252 AD, a time in Rome known as the crisis of the third century. Our own starting point for a similar crisis lines up with the bombing of the World Trade Center in New York City.
On a personal note: sometimes, coming across a new repetition feels like a huge birthday present, the discovery is so delightful.
Conjunctions
Thus far, I’ve been explaining time cycles.
There are also other influences that repeat. Currently, our NOW is being structured by a very rare conjunction of influences. In fact, in the last four thousand years, only nine previous periods played out very similar versions of the same “movie.” The plot we are experiencing right now is the tenth instance.
The good news is that those nine previous instances led to a significantly improved state of world affairs within twenty to sixty years, which implies that is what we can expect in our world.
Alas, there was also initially a period of angst, chaos, change and uncertainty…just like we are experiencing. In the present, in the United States, these stressors have been developing for twenty years, at least since the World Trade Center bombing early this century. Given this rampant state of anxiety and uncertainty, and the current fears and doubts in people’s minds, the view of a bright, positive future may seem ridiculous. This is, however, akin to a major low point in the stock market. During such times, everyone is scared and negative. Baron Rothschild is credited with the famous statement, “buy when the blood is running in the streets,” which actually implies that when everything looks the worst, good times are around the corner.
My optimism it is not based on imagination or wishful thinking. It is based on mathematics, because I am a mathematician, who studies patterns in history.
Granted, historians have noticed some of these similarities before.
The difference I bring to the table is explaining why the similarities take place, by using
1. mathematical time cycles; and
2. a technique with markers in time and space that both identify cycles and explain them.
In the case I’m writing about now, the 2064 year-cycle in play is ALSO with a rare planetary configuration–as in, there are TWO reasons for a similarity.
Vedic astrology is the corroborative technique I use (see yellow box). However, rather than using it like a soothsayer, this knowledge identifies similarities in collective experience. The level of orderliness in this seemingly invisible system shows repeating patterns of collective consciousness and behavior in history. It offers a proof for the pattern.
Whatever the reason for the repetition, these historical instances seem to appear as plots and ROLES, not individual SOULS (no need to insist on reincarnation). It is like a collective movie script of archetypal symbols being relived or replayed by a different group of people at different dates. Time cycles mark the repetitions, as the planets reinforce or trigger some kind of collective genetic memory when they pass through the same trigger points in the zodiac.
To relate these cycles to planets as markers: the slow-moving planets—Jupiter, Saturn and Ketu—are primarily responsible for the major trends of history. The planets move from one astrological sign to another, all the while structuring very specific experiences for society. The effect of the planets at those intervals continue to repeat because the planets each move at roughly the same speed. As a group, they imitate the same geometric configurations for centuries.
If all three planets are in the same signs at a particular interval, the effect they have together repeats. (Further examples of the conjunction I am writing about now also yield striking results. See blue box.)
If only one or two of the slow-moving planets are in the same places in the zodiac as they were before (called synodic cycles), some similarity in events may be obvious, but the “movie” stops repeating because the third planet is out of phase.
Now, let’s investigate how life with Donald Trump can be viewed as mirroring the life of Julius Caesar, more than two thousand years ago.
Julius Caesar and Donald Trump
2064-Year Time Cycle AND J-S-K Conjunction
The 2064-year cycle puts us at 44 BC. Have you ever heard of the Ides of March?
ALSO in the time period of 45-44 BC, the Jupiter-Saturn-Ketu conjunction in Sagittarius took place, the very rare conjunction that is happening now.
The conjunction lasted for four to five months in 45-44 BC. It ended two weeks before the assassination of Julius Caesar in Rome, on March 15, 44 BC. Fortunately, directly after that the three planets separated in such a way that the exact combination will not happen during our time now (though closer than Trump would want, if he knew). Basically, if Caesar’s life is analogous to Donald Trumps life, then Trump can expect a major challenge.
During our time and in the context of this world (fortunately the context is much better and the transits are less bad), Trump could be close to an impeachment conviction, but not killed like Julius Caesar was (in those days a lot of emperors were assassinated). If the exact configuration of Jupiter-Saturn-Ketu did repeat (see yellow box), Trump would likely be thrown out of office. Except the Vedic astrology pattern for the Ides of March in 44 BC does not repeat exactly in 2020. Thus, we should experience a softer version. The result, however, will be that Donald Trump will ultimately very likely not be the next president of the United States. This is the point of this analogy, to see the likely future of events in our present world.
Aside from the conjunction, there is also an ongoing–or, rolling–influence from the 2064-year time cycle. Literally, many events in Julius Caesar’s life are mirrored in the life of Donald Trump (as influential leaders of each time period).
Let’s look at the years prior to this event to show how the analogue to Julius Caesar’s time and life are similar to now, like a movie script repeating. The similarities are abundant and have been for many years prior to this. If this supposition is true, then our anticipated future might also turn out to be similar. It all comes down to the planets being almost in the same places, therefore the effects of those planets should also be similar.
Caesar/Trump Similarities
Oligarchy
Julius Caesar was initially born into and was part of the upper classes. However, he became an enemy to the oligarchical structure of Roman society and was viewed as a danger to the Roman Republic (which was quite a corrupt entity).
Trump (born into wealth) is viewed as a threat to American democracy, behaving as if wanting to be a king who would use executive privilege to overrule the House and Senate.
Crossing the Rubicon
Five years before 44 BC, in 49 BC, Caesar returned to Rome by “crossing the Rubicon” river. He had been absent from Rome, as Governor of Gaul and fighting several wars. He returned at the demand of the Senate to answer to the Senate and law makers because he had violated the law by fighting several unsanctioned wars. But by “crossing the Rubicon” with an army, he broke another important law by marching an army into Rome. He was starting a civil war and he knew it. The following five-year period is often called Caesar’s Civil War.
In the analogous five-year period in Trump’s life (from 2015-2020), he succeeded in getting elected as US president (the time of Caesar crossing the Rubicon is close to the time Trump began actively “marching his army” toward a presidential run). Now it is becoming clear that he may have also broken many laws. He certainly intended to shake things up and start battles in the existing political structures.
Currently, the US can be seen as being in Trump’s civil war, which includes the craziest and most antagonistic, confusing, polarized, off-the-grid political street fighting.
Wealth
Back in Rome in 44 BC, Caesar had amassed a considerable amount of wealth in the wars he had waged, this being analogous to Trump accumulating some wealth in business (real or exaggerated).
Constituency
Caesar had a big following among the lower economic levels of Roman society (plebeians) and the military, because he and his Uncle Marius (an earlier Consul in Rome) offered the poor a path to upward mobility if they served in the army. After that, poor people could eventually own property and establish themselves in the upper classes more easily.
Similarly, now, Trump-followers—workers, white males and poorer people—were attracted to his promises on changing the economic stagnancy of their lives.
Salesmanship
Caesar was a fabulous orator and was very convincing in front of crowds and politicians alike.
Certainly, everything about Trump is about working the crowds.
Bribery
Caesar was known to bribe Roman Senators and use his influence to illegally prop up his position. Trump making political payments to the Senators who will voting on his impeachment is certainly questionable, at best.
Wars
Julius Caesar fought wars that were unsanctioned. Although never a soldier, Trump dismantled accords and treaties and is fighting trade wars all over the world that are against many politicians and economists views. Business, with its cutthroat competition, is the analogue to the physical military battles and wars that Caesar fought in.
Debts
Caesar was part of a wealthy family with elevated status, which was lost when the Consul Sulla defeated his Uncle Marius. This development destroyed Caesar’s family status and wealth in 88 BC (during the Roman civil war of 88-82 BC).
This phase would align with 1976-1982, after which Trump would have shown a marked decrease in his wealth. Trump did experience business failures and bankruptcies and needed to obtain loans and support. He had documented huge tax losses 1985-1991.
Both Caesar and Trump were able to obtain the financial help they needed.
Immunity
Being a military commander protected Julius Caesar from the liabilities and requirements for debt repayment. Without that protection, he would have fallen under the laws for commoners and had to pay debts immediately.
In the present, Trump’s immunity from prosecution is in place as long as he holds onto the office of President.
Hair (or lack thereof)
On a lighter note, Caesar was known to have a very personal foible: his hair, or lack of hair on his bald head. He would often cover his head with a wreath (considered an aspiration to a Roman crown).
Do I have to point out the obvious?
End Experience
Finally, on March 15, 44 BC, Caesar was stabbed twenty-three times by as many Roman Senators.
In the coming months, to convict Trump in an impeachment trial, twenty Republican Senators would need to turn on him.
Sidenotes:
Caesar’s Uncle and Eisenhower
Regarding Caesar’s uncle: Marius was a remarkable man who lived 134-86 BC. He was made Consul of Rome seven times—the only person ever to do that—because of his excellent military successes in times of great stress and conflict in Rome. Adding 2064 years to the events of his career match very well with the dates of Dwight D. Eisenhower and his successes in our world as a general in north Africa (like Marius) and later as President (also like Marius, since consul was the highest office in Rome at the time).
Interestingly, Trump has mentioned Eisenhower to be his favorite United States President. Some think that the early 1950s is the time period he is referring to in “Make America Great Again.”
Bill Clinton
In 63 BC, there was an event called the Catiline conspiracy where a senator named Catiline attempted to overthrow the Government (or so it was claimed by the senate). He apparently was trying to overthrow the Oligarchy and establish freedom for the masses. It lines up perfectly with the Bill Clinton impeachment 1999-2000. What struck my attention was the name Catiline and Clinton were so similar (Clintian) by moving a few letters. That is somewhat interesting but what makes it more so is that earlier Catiline was found guilty of having an extramarital affair with a Vestal Virgin (a cherished female role in the society), causing an uproar. Clinton, of course, repeated the script with White House intern Monica Lewinsky.
Corruption
Regarding the causes of corruption in Rome during that period, note the reference book “Caesar Cicero and the Problem of Debt,” by M.W. Frederiksen. Evidently, Roman politicians often lived in prolonged states of indebtedness. Since their political positions were unpaid, politicians became very vulnerable to bribes by the rich in exchange for political favors.
The present world is also showing huge amounts of corruption, bribery and control by wealthy individuals and corporations in a highly materialistic capitalist country. In our world, money in many cases is the religion, and power the dispensary.
Prior instances of this three-planet conjunction
This three-planet conjunction—Saturn, Jupiter, and Ketu, all in the sign of Sagittarius—has happened only ten times in the last four thousand years. The dates are listed below with a quick explanation of an important event. (We emphasize Western civilization because the data is more abundant and we can relate to it more easily, but the theory is applicable to the whole world.)
In each case below, the prior leader (or party/supporters) had been in power for some time. And the next leader (or party/supporters) ended up being in power for some time.
Also, in these cases, the “movie script” was repeated both before and after the change in leadership. (Whereas in other regime changes throughout history, there is less of a repeated rolling plot.)
The important point for the reader is: WITHIN THE NEXT YEAR THERE SHOULD BE A CHANGE IN LEADERSHIP, SUPPORTING THE PROBABILITY THAT TRUMP WILL NOT BE THE NEXT PRESIDENT.
- 2020 AD: Donald Trump leaves office (forecast)
- 1722-1724 AD: Peter the Great of Russia dies and is replaced by Catherine the Great
- 1462 AD: Edward IV takes the throne of England (3/4/1461, after the War of the Roses)
- Also 1462 AD: Vasili II of Russia dies and is succeeded by his son Ivan III
- 1166 AD: Henry II of England conquers Brittany, granting the territory to his son Geoffrey
- 608 AD: Heraclius the Elder proclaims himself and his son Consul of Rome, and revolts against the Emperor Phocas whose regime in Constantinople has become unpopular
- 253 AD: Valerian becomes a new Roman emperor, ruling with his son Gallenius for sixteen years
- 44 BC: Julius Caesar is assassinated and new leadership comes to Rome
- 306 BC: Antigonus I Monophthalmus assumes the title of King in the Mediterranean and the Aegean
- Also 306 BC: The famous treaty of Philinus of Agrigentum. Carthage said it would not enter Italy and Rome not enter Sicily. This interpretation is disputed by historians but could have been a cause for the Punic wars. 264-146 bc. The analogue is close to the start of the United States
- 602-601 BC: Nebuchadnezzar is in a power struggle with Necho II of Egypt for years. Nebuchadnezzar withdrew to rebuild his army. This will be similar to Trump leaving office after the attacks on him and impeachment process and aftermath. Necho II returned to Egypt weakened, as well. This was a tough fight to a draw. The Democrats seem also weakened by battle in this time period
- 1517 BC: Tuthmosis II or Amenhotep I (using the dates of two different chronologies) both imply a change point. A new pharaoh begins after many years of the previous one
Jyotish, Vedic Astrology
The planets of Jupiter, Saturn, and Ketu (the south node of the Moon) in Vedic Astrology are coming together in the sign of Dhanu, the sign of Sagittarius. These planets, which control the slow-moving major trends of life, are now together moving through a very good place.
Sagittarius is the sign of the Archer. Sagittarius shoots the arrow of Karma through the field of Knowledge (Sagittarius is controlled by Jupiter, the planet of Knowledge). In the next years, we will see the Structuring of Truth entering the mainstream of society, the power of Knowledge, of Goodness, dominating over the forces of negativity and fear and greed. In the ancient Vedas, this is like Dhanur Veda (also the same root DHANU), the science of battle, destroying the enemy by transforming the enemy to a friend.
Jupiter, the planet of wisdom or expansion of dharma, is moving into its own house. It is happy there. Also, being the landlord or the astrological owner of Sagittarius, Jupiter controls Saturn and Ketu. By aspect, it also controls Rahu
Saturn, Ketu, and Rahu are all malefic influences that will be renting their space from Jupiter because they are residing in Sagittarius. Jupiter will be in this place for one year. During this year, the dark forces of life will be greatly controlled or at least strongly influenced by Good.
You could also say that the planets are crossing the Dhanu–like the Danube River (probably the basis for its name, from the ancient Sanskrit language). The Danube River connects more countries than any other in the world. It can be seen as a symbol of potential unity. The Danube was also a major border in the Roman Empire. Now it is the border of the cosmic empire. The invisible heavenly source, course, and goal of life.
